the whole mutual thing is really overhyped on this site. sometimes interests don’t match up and that’s the only reason why there isn’t a mutual following. if you’re a regular in my inbox or my notifications, i have visited your blog before. if i didn’t want you around for any reason, you would be blocked. so yeah. you can spam my notes and/or talk with me (and possibly become my friend) even if i’m not following you back. no worries.

Another thing I miss about LJ: you could be someone’s friend without following them. Tumblr should really have a similar option for “I want to check on this person every so often and/or see only one particular tag they post, but otherwise I don’t want their posts on my already-massive dashboard”.

The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily so they can meet their quota of getting FREE FOOD donated every day to abused and neglected animals in their shelters.

It takes less than a minute (only about 15 seconds actually) to go to their site and click on the purple box titled, ‘Click Here to Give – it’s FREE!’. Every click gives about .6 bowls of food to sheltered dogs. You can also click daily!

Keep in mind that this does not cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. [via.]

This is such a mood. Whenever I’m in airports too long all the noise blends together and the intercoms are bad quality, so when the announcements about “smoking is not allowed in the terminal” repeat I start to hear it as “Loki is not allowed in the terminal” and im half asleep and jetlagged like, “you bet he isn’t ”
