things I learned from my first day at ECCC:

I have got to be better about staying hydrated; it’s not that hard, I just have to do it
I also need to do better about snacking so I don’t hit a wall so fast
there is, so far, a distressingly small amount of Loki merch
panels are good because they mean you can sit down for an hour
the people at the Cosplay Repair Station are amazing
the con floor is massive and overwhelming, and I think I’ve seen less than half of it so far, which is kinda bad because I’d at least like to see everything; also my FOMO, potential buyer’s remorse, and anticipatory remorse from not buying something make for a bad combination
backup phone batteries aren’t useful if you forget to bring them

Con crud is a thing and apparently I have it 😖

my feet are dead and my wallet is dying, and it’s only day one D:

I met another Wanda and we were both very excited about each other 😀

I uhhhhh spent like $150 today, half on souvenirs (I’m the worst tourist, honestly) and half at this great little comics shop in Pike Place Market, and of course I haven’t even been to ECCC yet

To do today:

Take the Seattle Underground tour
Visit Pike Place Market and probably some other stuff in the area
See…something else…? Idk it would probably be smarter to keep it fairly limited, honestly, but I at least want to check Atlas Obscura again
Put together AA Loki’s staff (quick) and add fur to the jacket collar (less quick)
Type up the fic I wrote on the plane yesterday so I can post it before February is actually over
Ideally, also work on Wonder Woman cosplay stuff oops
Figure out when I’m actually wearing which costume, duh
Also figure out if there are any panels and/or meetups I want to do tomorrow
